Description
Gorgeous vintage lacquered wood and brass serving tray with handles made in Sorento, Italy, using the “Intarsio” technique. Pieces of wood are carefully crafted together to create an intricate floral design in the center, surrounded by swirled pattern vine in gold. The colors are very warm and deep with hues of dark brown and honey, orange, green and shades of yellow. The natural grain of the wood is preserved and included in the design. A true piece of art! It’s in good vintage condition with some scratches to the lacquered finish as shown in pictures, discoloration and some natural patina to the brass. Original label on the bottom of the tray. Would be great to use for a vignette or plants. Measurements: 15” by 8”.
