This is a 2-piece set of Kyocera black ceramic Santoku (15cm) and paring (13cm).
The 15cm Santoku with a black made of Japanese ceramic is a useful main for everyday cooking, such as for meat and vegetables.
Ceramic does not rust and does not impart a metallic taste to food. Therefore, the 13cm paring , also with a black made of Japanese ceramic, is suitable as a sub- for chopping herbs or cutting fruit.
Both are dishwasher safe.
Ceramic is very hard, so the sharpness lasts a long time. However, because it is very thin, if you try to cut hard ingredients or frozen foods forcefully, the may chip. We recommend using it in conjunction with a stainless steel to ensure longevity.
