Description
This is a traditional Japanese Washi paper doll, featuring an attractive kimono and haori.
Approximately 40 years ago, when I purchased it at an antique market, Aoi no Ue was written on the underside of the base, but I didn't understand its meaning.
Due to age, there is peeling on the lower part of both sleeves. There is also fading and other signs of wear.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive or seeking a perfect item.
